A fight and a race each end in one result, as a darts final does, but the markets around them are built differently. This section describes how.

Boxing, MMA and UFC make up one camp; the other holds Formula 1, NASCAR, cycling and motorsport more broadly. The usual markets pick the fighter or driver to win, then the round, the method of victory, podium places or the fastest lap.

Under the CAP Code, no athlete under 25, or looking it, can be shown gambling or given a significant role in a betting advert. That is about appearing in an advert; the right to bet itself begins at 18.
