Bet types & in-play
A darts match can be bet on leg by leg, set by set or on the winner, so the number of bets behind a slip matters from the start. This section counts them.
Singles, accumulators and each-way bets are the basics. Beyond them lie the full-cover bets (Trixie with 4 bets, Yankee with 11, Heinz with 57, Goliath with 247), then ante-post, Asian handicap, bet builders, cash out and live streaming with in-play betting.
Total stake on a full-cover bet comes from multiplying the unit stake by the bet count. Bookmakers in Great Britain run in-play betting, whereas cash out is a feature chosen by the operator and carries no legal entitlement.
